Aangan turns a residential community into an actual community — neighbours who know each other, not just people who share a gate.

A community app for apartment societies and gated communities. Residents join, say what they're into, and the app introduces them to neighbours who share it, groups worth joining and things happening this week. Underneath, it runs everything a society needs — visitors and gate, maintenance and dues, amenity bookings, notices, polls, AGMs and accounts — so one app covers both the running of the place and the life of it.

• Interest-based discovery. Declare that you cycle, read or play badminton, and the app suggests neighbours, groups and challenges that match — rather than waiting for you to search.
• Classes and services from within the community. The maths tutor, the Bharatanatyam teacher, the badminton coach — verified by the committee, rated by neighbours you can name.
• Reach beyond your own gate. A society of 200 is too small to sustain a chess club; a neighbourhood of 2,000 isn't. Discovery extends to nearby communities when residents opt in.
• Mitra, the built-in assistant. Ask in plain language — book the clubhouse on Saturday, find maths tuition for 8th standard, check what's due — and it acts, with your confirmation.
